UVic Salsa Team
If you have one hour a week, and want to learn how to dance or improve your skills, then consider joining the UVic Salsa Team. The UVBLSC hosts an open practice during September and January for new members. No partner or experience necessary!
The team is coached by Christina Morrison of Salsa Caliente Dance Co. Her choreographies are fun and challenging for all levels of dancers. Many of our dancers have gone on to join her dance company and have travelled to various salsa congresses held around the world (e.g. Portland, New York, and even Puerto Rico!).
